The story here came from a dream I just had today. After waking up, I quickly wrote it down. Here it goes:
“Where’s dad!?”, the boy exclaimed. The boy’s uncle just stood still. The boy shouted now,“WHERE’S DAD!?”. A twitch can now be seen on his uncle’s face.
Realizing they wouldn’t get anywhere by him being quiet, the boy’s uncle finally started speaking. He started with the words, “I originally planned on moving your father to this room…”
A quiet but cold tension filled the air, the boy was getting impatient.
His uncle then continued, “..but I can’t now. You must not see your father right now in this state!”
Hearing these words, the boy’s face showed great sorrow. He clenched his fists, bit his lips and his body started shaking. The thought was too much for him, eventually a teardrop streaked down from his eyes, which were followed by many more teardrops.
In a saddened tone, the boy could only say,”Then…does this mean that….”. His uncle cut his words by saying, “Yes kiddo. ‘They’ got to him.”
Then the boy started bursting into tears.
